Why does insurance matter?

Mistakes may be made; Accidents may occur; People may be hurt. If your contractor isn't appropriately covered, then you are at risk: consult your insurance agent and lawyer. The types of coverage that may be of concern are: liability, workman's comp, commercial vehicle, inland marine (tools and equipment).
